Open European Beard and Moustache Championships - Terms & Conditions

June 21st and 22nd 2018 in Old Jaffa, Israel

The Old Jaffa Tourism Board in cooperation with the East Bavarian Beard and Moustache Club would like to present the Open European Beard and Moustache Championships which will take place on June 21st and 22nd 2018. Every bearded man is invited to come and join in this event.

Terms & Conditions for Contest Participants :

1. The participants in each individual category will be introduced together in front of a 7 person jury panel and        will then be openly assessed.
2. The marking will range between 5 and 10 points although half points may be given too.
3. The points 10, 9.5, 9 and 8.5 can only be awarded to one person in the actual category being assessed.
4. The highest and lowest score will not be considered in the valuation.
5. First, second and third place must be voted outright. Should there be a draw, a second ballot will decide the      winner.
6. Protests made against the jury´s decision will lead to disqualification.
7. All participants will receive a certificate. The top three of each category will receive a trophy.
8. Deadline for registration is June 1st 2018, last minute registration is still possible on June 21st 2018 during        the preliminary jury (3:00 pm - 4:30 pm).
9. Competition fee is US $ 30 / € 25 and has to be paid on location on June 21st 2018.
